Development of Training Curriculum & Materials

The curriculum with co-created with a maternal-child health epidemiologist, qualitative methodologist, EMPOWER project stakeholder with lived experience of substance use in pregnancy, and psychologist. The content for each training module was iteratively created to ensure the inclusion of appropriate, adequate, and accessible information related to each learning objective. This workgroup met weekly over the course of six months to co-develop the training modules and materials.

The training course included seven modules, with three self-paced, interactive online training modules and four live online training sessions. Each self-paced online module took stakeholders ~30 minutes to complete, and the four live online training sessions were scheduled for 90 minutes each.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
